Established in 2024, Porsena Solutions LLC (Porsena) is a homeland security consulting firm focused on providing professionally designed experiences and solutions to meet our partners' needs. Our contributions to sustaining and strengthening readiness evoke innovation, engagement, and purpose.
At Porsena, we work to strengthen decision making and collaboration at all levels of operation when preventing, responding, and recovering from a critical incident. Porsena works with partners to develop and integrate meaningful solutions that sustain and enhance readiness programming.
Meet Our Founder & Head Designer
David Schuld is an internationally recognized leader in counterterrorism, crisis management, and intelligence preparedness, leading innovative and engaging planning, training, gaming, and exercise experiences for his clients. With over 20 years working on developing and strengthening concepts including Unified Command, Integrated Response, Special Operations, Reunification Operations, and Intelligence and Investigative Operations, Mr. Schuld brings stakeholders meaningful preparedness, readiness, and exercise design management solutions that incorporate innovation, creativity, and engagement.
Highlights include:
- Supporting the Northern Ireland Peace Process
- Working for the European Parliament, US House of Representatives, British Army, and British Foreign Office
- 10+ years as a consultant in counterterrorism and crisis management
- Presenting at the 2022 United Nations Planetary Defense Conference on homeland security and continuity activities
- Serving as County Coordinating Officer during COVID-19 Response and Recovery Operations in Utah
- Chairing numerous public safety and homeland security-oriented associations and alliances across North America and Europe
- Graduating from John Carroll University (Bachelors), KULeuven (Masters), and Air Command and Staff College with the USAF
- Maintaining HSEEP Certification, and supporting/leading design, conduct, and analysis of the most complex and largest exercises in the US
